Welcome to Saltwick!
Saltwick is a stunning, 4 bedroomed house, that sleeps 7 guests, with an occasional bed available for an 8th person. You will find 2 lovely ensuites with walk-in showers and 1 family bathroom with bath and separate shower. Downstairs is a stunning open-plan kitchen/diner with large lounge and downstairs WC. Bi-folding doors lead to a large, enclosed garden and entertaining space complete with charcoal BBQ, seating and hot tub (extra charge - see rates)
We are located just outside Sleights, in the quaint village of Briggswath on the edge of the North York Moors National Park. Lying in the Esk Valley, the village is just three miles from the centre of Whitby so you can reach the bustling seaside town easily. There is a lovely pub, the gorgeous Radford's butchers, Botham's bakery, fish and chip shop, convenience shop and antiques centre all within walking distance
You can also enjoy a relaxing afternoon on the river by hiring a rowing boat or kayak just a short walk away from the property in the village of Ruswarp. If you’d prefer a delicious pub lunch, head to the village of Sleights and visit the Plough Inn which is a short 5-minute drive from the property.
Whitby is a popular and iconic seaside location for all seasons, ideal for both short breaks and longer stays. With its rich history, pretty harbour, vast beaches and unspoiled charm, it has a wealth of attractions and an unrivalled selection of award-winning restaurants, fish and chip cafes and pubs.
One visit to Whitby is never enough, and you’ll want to return to this beautiful town time and time again.
As we manage Saltwick ourselves we take pride in ensuring everything is perfect ready for your stay. To check availability and pricing, please check out our calendar page or contact us with the dates in mind, the number of people in your party, if any pets will be joining you and confirming if you will require use of the hot tub. We will then check and confirm availability and pricing.
Should you wish to make a booking, we ask for a 30% deposit to secure the dates, with the balance due 8 weeks before arrival.
We ask for a security deposit to be made before arrival which we hold in case of any damage. This is refundable within 7 days of your departure.
We do not use agencies to advertise the property.
